1. ApartmentRatings.com improvements result in record high traffic & lead generation
Over the past several months we have been working diligently to update the ApartmentRatings website. This work includes improvements to the site’s architecture, functionality, as well as updates to the overall look and feel. As a result, we have not only received wonderful feedback from renters, but we are also receiving some love from Google, in the form of search engine performance. By continuing to lead the industry through having more high quality review & ratings content than any other apartment search website, we have always ranked highly for the most commonly used apartment ratings & reviews keywords and phrases. However with the recent updates, we are showing up in Google search results even higher and more frequently than ever – typically in the top 2-3 search results on page one.
As a result of this favorable attention from Google, we have seen our YOY traffic increase by an average of more than 30%! This means more renters who are searching for a new apartment home are finding us on Google and clicking through to ApartmentRatings.com. Additionally, we have noticed record high lead form submissions on our community pages. This is fantastic news for clients with active Manager Center subscriptions, who can benefit from receiving qualified phone and web leads from interested renters on their community pages. 2. Reputation Management Product Enhancements – Improved team structure & new brand analytics
Our Reputation Management product, consisting of Reputation Intelligence and Brand Analytics (now called Multi-Location) is an extremely helpful tool to help you and your teams keep track of and manage your online mentions, reviews, listings, and social posts across the entire web. We have recently improved the ability for our clients to grant access to individual communities or groups or users, based on your organizational team structure. The Multi-Location (formerly Brand Analytics) tools allow you to quickly and easily view all of your social mentions, sentiment, engagement, and even build and schedule posts and campaigns. Furthermore, you can do this for individual communities, groups, or your entire portfolio, depending on the messaging and intended audience for your content. 3. Introducing the epIQ Index Trend Report
With the increased attention and adoption of the epIQ Index as a comprehensive consumer and industry operator performance metric, we felt it would be valuable to create an epIQ Trend Report within the EXCHANGE reporting platform. This new report allows you and your teams to track your epIQ performance over time and reveal which actions, behaviors, and strategies are working, as well as where you may need to spend a little extra time and effort to ensure that your current residents are delighted with their community experience and that prospects get the most authentic sense of what life at any of your communities might be like if they choose to move in. Also included in the report is the ability to look at your entire portfolio as a whole, a group of communities, or individual communities. You can also drill down to see how each of the 4 epIQ categories have trended over time, which will further help you to identify your strengths and opportunities. And finally, we have listed the communities in your portfolio who’s epIQ grade has increased and decreased the most in the last month. 4. The Company Comparison Tool
Similar to the Community Comparison Tool that we introduced late last year, we have now added the ability to choose up to 20 competitor management companies to which you can compare your epIQ performance. Find out how you measure up against your top competitors based on the metrics that matter most to your current and prospective residents. This tool is particularly useful for meetings with upper management and ownership/investor groups who want to know about the health and reputation of the organization and/or their investments compared to others in the industry.
5. New Education Reviews Section in EXCHANGE!
Every January and July, our Education Team (led by Lia Nichole Smith & Melissa DeCicco) offers free review sessions to our SatisFacts Insite Survey clients. In these meetings, Lia and Melissa meet with upper management and/or onsite & regional managers to review their survey performance facilitate goal setting and action planning to maximize your organization’s goals. In fact, 100% of those who attended both the January and July review sessions in 2020 AND made the action plans mandatory at their communities saw improvements to their Insite Survey and epIQ performance! To make review sessions even more accessible to our clients, we have now added the ability to sign up for your biannual review session from within the EXCHANGE platform. Additionally, you will now be able to access and download the presentation deck for the most recent review session using the new Education Reviews section in EXCHANGE.
